SSPC announce new project with Merck and Perceptive Engineering
John Mack, Engineering Director Perceptive Engineering Limited, Dr Denise Croker, SSPC, General Manager and Tom O’Ceallaigh, Technical Associate Director – Merck, announcing research activity in Continuous Crystallisation in a collaborative project between SSPC, Perceptive and Merck & Co., industry through a funded PhD conducted at SSPC, University of Limerick.
The research areas: Application of Model Predictive Control to continuous crystallisation, novel strategies for control of critical quality attributes and hybrid modelling techniques.
The project entitled “The development of Advanced Process Control technologies applied to formulated products” with Merck (MSD) and Perceptive Engineering Ltd.
